The Knot begins as clay. Thrown and hand-shaped at Ves, each vessel carries its own ridges, appendages and quiet asymmetries — a sculpture first, a vessel second. Its forms are made to hold: a single stem, a strand of jewellery, the small things that gather at the end of a day.

For The Shape of Small Things, the piece is completed in collaboration with Fawn World, whose preserved and dried botanicals nest into the clay, and Days of Ever, whose jewellery hangs from its ridges. Each Knot is one of a kind.

How it works:

  4. Watch your piece assembled by hand.

Handmade ceramic sculptural vessel by Ves — part flower holder, part jewellery holder. Its appendages and ridges are made for hanging and hooking your Days of Ever jewellery.

Florals are composed on-site by Fawn World using seasonal florals, seed pods, dried botanicals and preserved elements — yours to keep for months to come.

Sizes (approximate height): Small 15cm, Medium 20cm, Large 30cm.

Each piece is handmade and one of a kind — form, glaze and size vary slightly.

About the makers

Fawn World — a Singapore floral and botanical studio working in "disobedient nature", composing with seasonal florals, seed pods, dried and preserved elements.

The Knot (ceramic): wipe clean with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid harsh detergents and abrasive scrubbers. As a handmade ceramic piece, it is not dishwasher or microwave safe — please handle with care.

If used as a flower holder with fresh stems, empty the water and dry the inside thoroughly after use.

Dried & preserved florals: keep away from direct sunlight, humidity and moisture to preserve their colour and form. Do not water. Dust gently with a soft brush or a hairdryer on its coolest setting.

Handle the florals delicately — dried botanicals are naturally fragile and can be brittle.
