Little Hands, Big Creations
Little Hands, Big Creations
The foundation of wheel-throwing will be taught during this 6-week ceramics course (one 2.5 hour class per week). Students will be taught at the start how to throw cylinder, and then advancing to other forms such as bowls and cups, turn/trim the bases of pieces, and glazing techniques using in-studio Ves glazes.
After 6 weeks, students will have their own glazed pots and bowls fired and may be collected within 1 month after the 5th week. This course is ideal for beginners with little or no experience at all.
The cost of this course includes clay up to a maximum of 7 pieces, use of wheel and equipment, materials for decorating and glazing, and firing. Basic tools (for you to keep!) and extra pieces made will be under separate costs. This course holds a capacity of 8 students to provide close individual guidance.
*Recommended for participants at least 13 years old
