6-week Wheelthrowing Extension Course (Sundays)
This course is a continuation of the 5-week introduction to wheel-throwing course, and is also suitable for people who have had beginners’ wheel-throwing course elsewhere.
In this 6-week course, students will continue to improve on throwing bigger cylinders and bowls in the 1st week. In the subsequent weeks, they will also be introduced to making pieces with handles, attachments and shaped spouts at the rim – such as pitchers, milk jugs, mugs, and pots. In the 5th week, students will learn how to glaze and decorate their pieces. All works will be fired after the 6th class, and can be collected one month after.
The cost of this course includes clay, use of wheel and equipment, materials for decorating and glazing, and firing. This course will take in a maximum of 8 students to provide maximum guidance.

5-Week Introduction to Wheel Throwing (Saturdays)
The foundation of wheel-throwing will be taught during this 5-week ceramics course (one 2.5 hour class per week). Students will be taught how to throw cylinder and bowl forms, turn/trim the bases of pieces, and glazing techniques using special Ves glazes.
After 5 weeks, students will have their own glazed pots and bowls fired and may be collected within 1 month after the 5th week. This course is ideal for beginners.
The cost of this course includes clay, use of wheel and equipment, materials for decorating and glazing, and firing. Basic tools (for you to keep!) will be under separate costs. This course holds a capacity of 8 students to provide close individual guidance

6-week Hand Building Extension Course (Wednesdays)
A continuation from our 4-week introduction to hand-building course, this course will allow the students to have an in-depth exploration of different forms using the techniques taught in the intro course. The lessons encourage creativity and understanding of the clay body, and will focus on the form of each piece of work. From geometric-shaped vessels, marbling, to alteration of pots, the class will work towards developing mindfulness when creating their pieces.

5-week Special Workshop - Textures and Grooves (Saturdays)
This special workshop is for intermediate students who wish to explore wheel thrown textured functional wares. At the end of the 5-week workshop, students will be able to demonstrate their ability to wheel throw textured bowls and vessels, trim footings and glaze their pieces.
Week 1 to 4 - Students will learn to facet and stretch to form textures on cylinders/bowls. When the pieces are leather hard they will learn to trim their pieces
Week 5 - Glazing
Requirements:
- Have taken at least 1 intermediate course with us, or able to wheel throw at least 1kg of clay
